Product information: The city of Aix-en-Provence and the delicious calissons have had a common destiny for several centuries. It is one of the emblematic delicacies of Provence . The calisson is a subtle mixture of almonds and candied melons with citrus notes of orange blossom and orange peels. Cut into its iconic shape, each calisson is ensconced in wafer paper and topped with a tender vegan royal icing.
